Last weekend, I went back to Penang. This time, I knew that I would be
terribly busy of helping Li Hui family up during the preparation of
wedding dinner. The first wedding dinner was held on last Friday night
and the host was the bride's side. I reached the restaurant 金喜楼 at
Butterworth 30minutes earlier than where I was supposed to. I just
helped them to lead the guests to their tables according to their
identities. Nothing special happened during the wedding. The dishes were
tasty enough and the people on the stage did enjoy in singing.
I forgot to describe the bride and bridegroom at that night. Actually
the bridegroom wore in a formal attire with a white shirt and a black
color coat. He looked dashing with a tiny black ribbon on his neck and
joyful with a full-time grin hanging on his small and charming face.
Everybody know that he was very happy and satisfied. Besides that, our
bride - LLL looked so gracious that night with a fashionable wedding
dress in purple color. Her height made the dress on her more attractive
and well-looking, and making her the most wonderful lady that night. The
way she grinned was amazing and telling us that she was really in love
with this gentleman. No one would be able to keep their envy towards
both of them.
I was happy to see them getting to this stage in their lives, it must
not be an easy path for them to undergo. Deep inside my heart, I wish them all the best in their
future lives and everyone will never stand between them to hold them
from loving each other sweetly.

Ups and downs
Early in the morning after the first wedding dinner, I woke up by the
talking noise from the gate of the house. I just noticed that people
started to crowd at the gate there as the time was near for the
bridegroom to come and bring his lovely wife back to his home. I jumped
out of the bed and rushed to the last room and hided myself up, as I was
like very guilty to be late prepared. After washing my face and taking
bath, I helped them up to prepare the tool of punishment for the coming
games specially prepared for the handsome bridegroom. The atmosphere was
good enough, it's just a long blank when we were waiting the YOUTUBE to
load gangnam style. I was brought into a very terrible moment, when it
came to the punishment of all the gentlemen. They threatened me by
saying that I will lose my job in the future if I dare to punish them.
What??!!! I just noticed that they are workers in consultancy firm, they
can anytime be my senior in my career. Thank God, I have succeed to
escape from that horrible situation.
Finally, they managed to go through all the troubles and the bridegroom brought the bride out of the room gentlemanly. The mode was up to the peak when she came out with a white and typical wedding dress. Then, they started to offer tea to the elders, afterwards the youth came to them and congratulate them with all the pleasant wishes. Actually, I was not really sincere in giving wishes, but today I know that that was really meaningful to give your sincere wish in this very moment.
I would like to write down a sentimental moment in that morning. When it came to the time that the spouse dedicated a tea for kmak to drink, kmak started to bow down her head sadly and wept soundlessly. People asked her not to cry, if I were her, I would ask them "Go to die.". You would never know how it feels like when you are going to let go your dear and obedient daughter away from you. After a long period of tears and laughter you had for her and with her, now it came to a very cruel and realistic part, when you have to let go her familiar hands.
Everything in future for her is uncertain afterwards, and uncertainty is the only thing you are usually scared with in our whole life. I believe that she trusts the bridegroom will give her a better life in future, it's just that she will never be able to let go the memory of sweetness and toughness with her dear daughter, she has no reason to let go those amazing memories.
We can't get our lives stagnant like a blocked river in a milky color looks lifeless and unattractive. Life is just like an electrocardiogram, there must be a non-stop ups and downs in the diagram if we consider the pupil is alive. It will only be a straight line when the pupil is no longer alive. Life without ups and downs has no meaning to look forward anymore. Therefore, cherish every moment we have and every breath we used to take for granted.
