Thank you and Sorry, brother.

Finally, I am home. Alone, I stayed at my room studying on my bed while a poodle (Rice) was lying on the floor silently. My younger brother came in, and started to talk with me seriously. He said that my eldest brother was unhappy to be rejected by me every times he asked me out to have a sharing about Amway.

I was shocked of this statement, meanwhile I felt terribly bad of myself. I did promise him to go out with him several times, but finally due to the meetings in College, I have to turn him down. Three times he found me for the same purpose, but I failed to even follow him all of them. I can't help but just hope that my younger brother can help me to explain my situation, I was not willing to reject anyone especially him. But that was my duty to be in the meetings and occasionally the meetings crashed with the Amway lessons.

I didn't mean to get apart from him at all, actually I am quite willing to know something new and beneficial. I heard that Amway gives a lot of motivation talks to the members and it does help them to be passionate in their lives. I am quite curious of the system actually, and wonder how the policy and system can turn a people 180 degree. For instance, my brother was a gamer who often spent his free time to slouch in front of the computer, used the late night time to do his assignment or work. His life style was never considered to be healthy. But after joining Amway, he is getting more and more passionate and concerned to his own health. He gets really motivated and determined to make this business a success for the sake of his life. I could never imagine this kind of change will happen on him just merely because of this Amway.

I have met people changing due to love, someone, religion or belief. But I couldn't believe that Amway could make a change on people. I quite salute this kind of change in fact. I am a people who always looks for further improvement. Hence, I managed to accept this kind of good change instead of finding the company very weird and brainwashing. However, it is sad for being incapable to support him through my action. I hope he really can understand my busyness and forgive my rejection to his kindhearted invitations.

After all, I just hope that he doesn't get so disappointed due to my rejection. I hope that he knows that rejection doesn't mean disapproval. I wish him all the best in everything he does, and wish to say to him, "Thank you and sorry, bro."

Crazy day ever!

Today is a crazy day to me with a lot of unexpected surprises which turned our mood up and down drastically.
Before that, I have to mention that last night Chinese Community of 11th college was having a long meeting. We took about 3 hours to discuss many important issues in 11th CC, and I was happy that most of us were so active to response during the meeting though we spent quite a lot of time. It was tiring at the end of the meeting, most of us looked so sleepy and tired. However, the spontaneous king - Soh Chun Chyn forced us to have a supper, and convinced them to follow by giving lousy reasons. Who expected that the action worked effectively, and everyone suddenly got so excited to go to Fifth college to have supper? It was weird enough and i couldn't figure out what happened until now.

We reached over there noisily as usual, while the people in cafe turned to see us curiously. I met some of the friends there and having a short casual talk with them. They are Diane and her small angel. They reminded me that 5th CC has a tradition called Angel system which is used to enhance the relationship of CC members. It worked effectively until I can see the intimate caring behavior in the cafe. It was amazing and unbelievable to me, and also made me feel like to improve my own CC.

Back to the topic. Before we started to drink our beverage, we started to play some exciting pokers games and also a round of killer. The process was really noisy and cheerful with all the laughter and some periods of silence we caused. I don't think we pretended to be like this, as I know this should be our nature originally. At about 2 am something, we dismissed tiredly and went back to our college happily. (we will never forget that our Doctor (in killer game) - Yoke Woon always chose to save her own self. This one was epic enough! What a selfish doctor!

After that, I straight away got onto my bed for I would have to wake up after 3 hours sleep. I can't believe that I managed to wake up on time, while I failed to do so for most of the morning classes!!
I knocked the door of SCC in order to wake up him up to get ready. Anyway, after all the procrastination, we managed to get ready inside the car at 615am. What happened next really made me speechless was that his first alarm belled. It gave a hint to me that he was actually setting his alarm at 615am while he promised me that he will wake up on 5am. What a lousy promise I have been given! Without much delay on traffic, we left KL easily.

On the way back to our hometown, we were getting more and more hungry and after a while of struggle, we decided to make our way to Ipoh for satisfying our hunger. Casually, I sent a message to a friend Ms Ngoi and asked for suggestion. Eventually, we were brought to Foh San Dim Sum under the assist of GPS. It was so embarrassing to be having breakfast with her family. However, they were so hospitable to entertain us, we appreciated this kind of breakfast. It was unexpected and meanwhile very unworthy for me to receive this kind of kindness. Anyway, I thank God for everything happening at the morning.

After that, we were led by her to the second round of breakfast - Original Old Town White Coffee. It was really hard for us to find a parking in Ipoh Old street. Anyway, we managed to find one due to the blessing of God. The taste of white coffee there was excellent and memorable indeed, though I am not a big fan of coffee after all. Buying a couple packs of 蛋塔, we dismissed with her and started to get on the way to home. We got into the car and started to leave Ipoh. "eh~What is it?", SCC asked curiously by pointing the front whipper. We were down to encounter a beautiful pink compound for the fault of parking without parking card My goodness!! I thought it must be a good day thoroughly  but it just remained until the moment we met the compound. I can't believe the bad luck I am having recently!

Helplessly, we headed to Majlis Ibu Pejabat Bandaraya Ipoh Perak to pay our compound. The process took us about half an hour, thank God that no one was lining to pay the compound.  The mood was down really after receiving the compound, but we got it back right after knowing that we were given a 30% discount for that. This made us crazy although we pay quite a lot of money in fact, but we already neglected the payment we made but only remember the discount we got. It was terrible to feel so crazily good after paying the compound. Then, we headed to home happily with a lot of unexpected things happened. The car was full of MayDay music throughout the time we were driving! We were supposed to be very tired but somehow we were extremely excited by those crazy things!! Safe to be home! Yeah! Thank for the crazy day!

We change our lives, or it works oppositely.

Some people were fed by using a golden spoon, but some people were in hunger always once they were brought to the world. Seemingly, it is blessed to be born with a golden spoon but meanwhile it can be the worse one if they don't cherish the grace and take it granted in their life. They found nothing but emptiness throughout their life. On the other hand, those people who are born with a poor family background can be a doom if they didn't strive to change the so-called fate. However, it can be a blessing if they are trying their whole life to overcome those problems with all sorts of great attitudes determinedly. That's why I strongly believe in a principle : Attitude is altitude.

Life keeps making change of them, molding them into someone in the future, we have no idea how bad or good they can be. Some people accept their life is fated in some ways, but some choose to make a change in their lives regardless what they may sacrifice for it. I believe that in fact life really changes our own mind unwittingly. For instance, our family background, the environment that we were born and live at, the people we meet in our lives did determine what kind of persons we are. How can be a poor guy so arrogant when he finds his family so shameful to be financially incapable? Most poor people really get used to be slave-like and diffident, in the world, poor people rarely get entertained or concerned in our society nowadays. In this situation, our life is considered fated without precious changes.

Thank God as I found that there have been a lot of changes throughout my life and I have to admit that the people around me and the experiences I encountered before did help me to change my mindset greatly and positively. Many of my friends told me that I have changed a lot. Surely, they didn't mean that I am still growing up physically.=.=

I wish to share something over here.
I got a crazy friend who is currently at Nepal. If it is not mistaken, he went there with an crazy intention - Mt. Everest hiking. I am not so sure, that's why I am looking forward to read his blog, by the way I am pretty sure that must be a great one! This friend has left his foot prints on many places of different countries without much friends followed him in any trips. Some people talked at his back about what he is doing in these few years, some people admired while some people find it inappropriate somehow. In my opinion, I think he is trying to make changes in his life while hoping for something new filling the world of his mind during the process of traveling in so-call adventurous trekking. However, I quite admired this kind of life, and the passion he is possessing now, no one dare to make changes in their own lives with actions, it takes quite a lot of courage and faith to do so. Perhaps this friend gets used to be so rebellious to the rules and regulations in an ordinary life, so it might not be a problem for him to break the rules. Haha~kidding~ It seems like he is changing his life, but in fact he is actually allowing his life to mold him little by little. I am not sure whether he knows or not, or I am thinking wrongly, what we did is like the pieces of puzzles that complete the beautiful figure of our life. After all, we can see that our life does the matter to mold us anyway.

Sincerely hope everyone of you can strive to make a change of your life so that your life can change you as well.

Convocation in UM

Date: 05/10/2012                   Convocation of Engineering Students

Early in the morning, I woke up for attending a morning class from 8-10am. Honestly, I never find the morning class enjoyable, instead I find my eyelids both very heavy and suffering to keep them open through out the lecture. This morning, I managed to keep them fully open during the statistic class, as it is familiar like Form 6 mathematics. I found it comprehensive enough to understand. However, at the same time, I was worrying about the situation at DTC. I worried that 11th CC didn't get prepared well at DTC. Hence, I did call the person in charge to take action in order to avoid some problems. When I reached the place after leaving from the lecture, I found that the situation of the convocation was totally chaos especially at the place that all Chinese gathered. Those Chinese are Engineering supporter, Residential Colleges supporters and also the Society of Engineering supporters who came to congratulate their honorable seniors. They were making noise and cheers while waiting for the seniors to come out from the ceremony.
There were people holding their designed banners of different sizes and different positions in order to attract the attention of seniors. In this uncontrollable situation, I just sneakingly mixed in the crowds and eventually found myself hard to make a stand while there were actually several different groups asking me to join them. Those are PKUM - Engineering Society, Civil Engineering, and 11th Residential College Chinese Community. Finally, I had no choice but to support 11th College Chinese Community, as I ought to do so.

After waiting for a long time, most of us spoiled our throat seriously by making noise and cheers. We sweated a lot as people were standing too close over small place. Finally, we saw many seniors coming out from the hall. Spontaneously, we asked them to come and took away their specs, mobile phones, wallets, and watches, then we started to throw them high to the air. Civil Engineering students were crazy enough by throwing the seniors exactly like a car's whipper. It was exciting and crazy, but effective to make the day more memorable in our seniors' lives. I am proud of being one of them!!

I didn't expect so much, just sincerely hope they can enjoy and appreciate what we have done for them. It is a tiring day which made me unable to focus on my evening practical class. However, the memory does matter for today and also the future.
